We come to the end of the first week of a new month and a continued excellent attendance all round with weekly training and various different sessions mounting up to a staggering 551 attendance count for this week alone. You all continue to inspire me with your willingness to keep going and putting in those training hours no matter what.

This week we saw the start of our virtual free sparring sessions, HSTS quiz night, UTA seminar as well as some UKITF training events at the weekends with more to come.

February is a short month so we will soon be in March and spring will be here. However, let’s not focus purely on the future as we will miss what’s happening in the present, and it might not seem like it but I’m sure great things are happening right now. Look at the amount of training some of you are doing it’s fantastic. If we weren’t on Zoom that wouldn’t be happening, take last week with the snow, I wouldn’t have been able to get to Hitchin dojang to teach and many of you wouldn’t either, but because of Zoom, we were able to continue to train.

Also, following on from children’s mental health week last week we hope that our Taekwon-Do lessons are giving your children some sort of focus and normality albeit on Zoom. At least it’s still giving them something to continue to set their achievements and goals towards their next belt.

Keep training and I look forward to seeing you on the next Zoom sessions this week.
