PURPOSE

Presenting Taekwon-Do ITF as a discipline that has the ability to stop, resist, get up and move forward in the face of the worst circumstances.

APPLICATION

This time it will be done virtually with the fundamental objective of giving all our practitioners/competitors the possibility of continuing to participate at a distance, continue competing and keep learning. These rules are entirely based on the official regulations of the I.T.F. and they are experimental because in this situation the rules were adapted for Virtual competition.

OFFICIAL DRESS

– Competitors: Official ITF Dobok. If you wear a shirt, it must be white. Footwear is not allowed.

– Judges: Official clothing. Black Umpire T-shirt.

OFFICIAL AUTHORITIES

It will be made up of 3 official members

A. 1 chairman of the tournament committee.

B. 1 chairman of the umpire committee.

C. 1 general coordinator or organizer of the event.

JURY

The jury will be made up of 3 or 5 judges according to the requirement. One officer (virtual) will give the greeting and start commands. Each working group will have a Coordinator, who, if necessary, may replace a Judge.

4.VIDEO FILMING PROCEDURE

1) Intervening parties

There may be two: the “competitor” and the “operator”, there will be a person responsible for filming the competitor in the development of the pattern following the guidelines described below.

2) Video format

The filming of the video must perform a standard horizontal shape, to achieve a greater amplitude of the shot. 16:9 shooting size (android 1920×1080, iPhone 1080p HD at 30 cps).

3) Frame

The box will be the area delimited by the four edges of the screen. The operator must continuously verify that the competitor does not leave the box during the execution of the PATTERN. The complete image of the competitor must always remain within the frame.

4) Filming angle

The angle must be normal or neutral. This means that the axis of the target will be at the competitor’s shoulder height and parallel to the ground.

5) Shooting distance

The shots must be taken at a distance such that, in all the execution of the form, the complete picture of the competitor can be displayed at all times. Zooming with the camera is allowed.

6) Filming speed

It will be “normal camera”; it will not allow its acceleration or slowdown.

7) Filming position

The operator must take the frontal shots ONLY with respect to the competitor’s starting position (X), since this is the perspective of the games that judge the PATTERN.

8) Audio

The audio must be natural at all times, without noise contamination. The competitor’s breathing, his voice and the sounds proper to the execution of the movements must be heard.

9) Start recording

The Official Tournament Poster must be observed, in a fixed position or shown at the beginning of the filming, without any cut in it. The competitor will start filming in a firm “Charyot” position, perform the “Kyong Ye” salute after the salute (3 seconds), perform the “Jumbi” preparatory position in which he will wait 3 seconds and start the Pattern.

10) End of recording

At the end of the Pattern the competitor will return to the starting position “Jumbi” and after 3 seconds will stop filming.

11) Presentation of the video

All videos must be previously sent to the competitor’s Instructor or coach for checking and registration in the event.

DISQUALIFICATION

Grounds for disqualification

1) The subsequent editing of the video of the execution of the pattern.

2) If the competitor’s image at any time during the filming is out of frame or does not comply with the filming angle.

3) Videos whose images are taken diagonally or laterally to the competitor’s initial position (X). Only camera zoom can be used, no camera movement is allowed.
