HSTS Taekwon-Do All Day Training at Hitchin Dojang Prepares Students for Upcoming Grading

Students from across HSTS Taekwon-Do came together at our Hitchin Dojang in Hertfordshire for an intensive All Day Training event designed to help students prepare for their upcoming Taekwon-Do grading examination.

Held on the 6th June 2026, 10:00am until 4:30pm, the training session provided a fantastic opportunity for students from various HSTS Taekwon-Do schools to train together, improve their technical skills, and gain valuable experience ahead of the grading scheduled for Sunday 14th June.

Intensive Taekwon-Do Training in Hitchin

The All Day Training event focused on the complete ITF Taekwon-Do grading syllabus, allowing students to spend additional time developing the techniques and knowledge required for their next belt promotion.

Throughout the day, students participated in a wide range of Taekwon-Do training activities, including:

  • Fundamental movements and basic techniques
  • ITF Taekwon-Do patterns (Tul)
  • Step sparring and free sparring
  • Self-defence applications
  • Theory and terminology revision
  • Breaking techniques
  • Grading assessment preparation

This comprehensive approach ensured students received expert guidance across every aspect of the syllabus while helping them identify areas for further improvement before grading day.

Building Confidence for Taekwon-Do Grading Success

Preparing for a Taekwon-Do grading requires dedication, consistency, and attention to detail. Events such as our All Day Training sessions are designed to give students the extra time and support needed to build confidence in their abilities.

By spending a full day immersed in Taekwon-Do training, students were able to refine their techniques, improve their understanding of patterns, strengthen their sparring skills, and develop greater confidence in their self-defence and breaking techniques.

The True Spirit of Taekwon-Do

One of the highlights of the day was the strong sense of community and support shown by all participants. Students worked together, encouraged one another, and embraced the opportunity to learn from fellow practitioners across the HSTS Clubs.

Senior grades provided valuable guidance to junior students, while everyone displayed the key principles of Taekwon-Do including courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control, and indomitable spirit.

Training events like this help strengthen not only technical ability but also the friendships and connections that make the HSTS Taekwon-Do community so special.
