Dear Students/Parents,
As we approach the end of our training year for 2026, I would like to thank you for being part of HSTS Taekwon-Do and reflect on what makes our club so special.
We have welcomed new Little Dragons, Cadets and Adults throughout the year, each starting their own Taekwon-Do journey. If you have recently joined us, I hope you and your children already feel part of the club and are enjoying the challenges, friendships and achievements that training brings.
To our longer-standing students and families, thank you for your continued commitment and support. Watching students grow through the years, and seeing families make Taekwon-Do part of their lives, means a great deal to me.
There is much to celebrate, from students earning their next belt and testing themselves in competition to those finding the confidence to try something they once thought they could not do. Some achievements come with a belt or a medal; others happen quietly in class through persistence, improved focus or the willingness to keep going when something is difficult. They all matter.
What makes me most proud is seeing the lessons learnt in the dojang carried into everyday life. Courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control and indomitable spirit have a purpose far beyond training. Helping students develop those qualities remains at the heart of why I teach and continues to motivate my own journey.
With our final lessons of the year approaching, please remember that HSTS closes for two weeks over Christmas. This annual break gives our instructors and administration a well-earned opportunity to rest and spend time with their families.
Please do not amend or cancel your Direct Debit during this period. The two-week Christmas closure is already accounted for in your training fees, which are spread evenly across the year.
Thank you to our students, parents, instructors, assistants and administration team for everything you contribute to HSTS. I look forward to finishing the year together and continuing your progress in 2027.
